Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week 2026
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is coming, and we invite you to help us celebrate the heart of our story—our incredible teachers and staff!
This year’s theme is “Celebrating the Heart of Our Story,” with each day featuring a different book-inspired “chapter” to bring creativity and joy to the week. We can’t wait to share more details soon!
We will be serving lunch or treats each day between approximately 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. While volunteers are needed throughout the week, we also need pie donations for Friday! Please consider signing up!

FACTS Multi-Factor Authentication Required
Beginning May 13, FACTS will require all families to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Required Exam Days for 6th–11th Grade – May 20 & 21, 2026
Students in grades 6 through 11 are required to attend exam days on Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Please note the following details:
These are half days with an early start time of 8:00 AM and dismissal at 11:45 AM.
Regular CCS Dress Code will be in effect on both days.
Remember to bring plenty of pencils and your calculator!
Only 8th grade students will take their 4th hour exam on Wednesday, May 20. All other grades will take their 4th hour exam on Thursday, May 21, to accommodate the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony.

8:00 – 8:50 AM – 4th Hour
8:55 – 9:45 AM – 3rd Hour
9:50 – 10:50 AM – 2nd Hour *
10:55 – 11:45 AM – 1st Hour
Thursday, May 21- Exam Schedule (by class hour):
8:00 – 8:50 AM – 5th Hour
8:55 – 9:45 AM – 6th Hour
9:50 – 10:50 AM – 7th Hour *
10:55 – 11:45 AM – 4th Hour
*Note: Exams during the third time slot each day are slightly extended to allow for a 10 minute break for a snack/bathroom break.

This special event marks an important milestone as our 8th graders prepare to transition into high school. We will celebrate and honor the hard work and accomplishments of our students!
