Community Christian School is committed to developing well-rounded students that glorify Christ in a variety of ways. Athletics are a prime opportunity for us to showcase the gifts and talents that the Lord has given. Through our sports teams our student-athletes learn about leadership, teamwork, dedication, character, and discipline which will further shape them into the image of Jesus as we strive to equip the next generation of godly leaders. The goal of CCS is to develop strong moral character and strengthen Christian values through the pursuit of athletic excellence.
Community Christian School is an interscholastic member of the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association (GICAA), a 138 member school organization comprised of Christ-centered independent schools who wish to impact and influence their students through athletics. CCS fields 40 teams which participate in 13 different sports at the varsity, junior varsity, middle school, and elementary levels. Community also offers various intra-mural programs for our younger students. The majority of the CCS student body participates on the an athletic team.
