Our Goal isn’t a specific dollar amount. Our goal is 100% participation because every gift, regardless of the size, is a meaningful investment in the missions of Community Christian School. When every family participates, we demonstrate our shared commitment to providing an exceptional Christ-centered education for every student.

Why Give
The Knights Annual Fund is Community Christian School’s annual giving campaign that provides flexible support for the areas of greatest need. While tuition covers the majority of a student’s education, it does not cover the full cost of providing the exceptional, Christ-centered experience our families expect.
Annual Fund gifts help bridge that gap by supporting:
- Classroom resources
- Technology and instructional enhancements
- Student programs and extracurricular activities
- Faculty and staff development
- Campus improvements
- Areas of greatest need across our school

The school’s financial strength is dependent upon the participation of all members of the school family. Your involvement generates enthusiasm and encourages others to join you in supporting the school. Additionally, when we ask foundations and corporations for support, the participation rate from those we serve, both past and present, is an indicator that the school is strong, valued, and worthy of support.
You are the only one who knows how much you are able to give. We ask only that you consider Community Christian School as one of your most important philanthropic priorities.
Tuition provides the largest portion of the operating budget of the school. Other support is derived from tax-deductible contributions, such as gifts to the Annual Fund, GA Goal and special fundraising events.
Not quite. Tuition covers most operating costs but the Annual Fund closes the gap between tuition and expenses. In order to provide the breadth of the full academic program for the students and faculty, parents, past-parents, alumni, corporations, friends, and foundations all support the school by their contributions to the Annual Fund.
We find it important that we be transparent, so we want to provide a few examples of why it’s essential to have a healthy annual fund in place on top of tuition (which is used primarily for staffing, academic resources and experiences, and facility costs).
Enhancements could include:
- Advanced Technology
- Physical education and athletic equipment
- Library enhancements
- Professional workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff
- New and more advanced equipment for science classes
- Support of performing arts programs
- Educational Subscription Services
- New clubs, student organizations, or competition programs
Yes! Community Christian School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible. When you send your donation to the school, your gift will be acknowledged in a letter that should be kept for your tax purposes.
Yes! Every year we are the grateful recipients of many corporate matching gifts. Please contact your company’s Human Resources Department to find out if they offer a matching gift program. We are eager to increase our annual support by participating in as many matching gift opportunities as possible.
