Position: Two-Year-Old Teacher
Two-year-old teachers work under the supervision of Lead Teachers, coordinators, and the principal.
Two-Year-Old Teacher job description
• We are looking for a passionate and engaging Two-Year-Old Teacher who will be responsible for the care and education of two-year-olds in our school.
• In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for two-year olds to learn and grow.
• You must have knowledge of child development and be able to create age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• You will be expected to design and implement curriculum to support their development to help them reach their milestones.
• You must also communicate effectively with parents and be able to assess and report on each child’s daily progress.
• Two-Year-Old Teachers work under the supervision of Lead Teacher and the Coordinator.
• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• Hours – 9:00-6:00 – Day shift
• 8-hour shift – 1 hour lunch
Two-Year-Old Teacher duties and responsibilities
• Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of Two-Year- Olds.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and learn.
• Must attend to the physical and emotional needs of the children including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
• Teach good habits, basic manners, and skills to the children.
• Encouraging the children to express themselves and engage in creative activities.
• Observe and document developmental progress of the children and communicate with parents/guardians regularly.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding childcare and education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Two-Year-Old care and education.
• Utilizing technology to enhance instruction and create engaging lessons.
• Communicating with parents to inform them of their children’s progress, including written, phone, or face to face conferencing as needed.
• Participating in meaningful professional development opportunities as coordinated by the CCS Administrative Team
• Attending, supporting, or sponsoring extracurricular activities as assigned
• Ability to work with a team to create lesson plans, instructional activities, and other learning experiences for Two-Year-Olds.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrative Team
Physical requirements include:
• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift to 20 lbs.
• Ability to clearly communicate with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
Required qualifications include:
• Belief in Jesus Christ and status as saved Christian in accordance with the Christian faith and the mission of CCS
• Ability to effectively communicate (written, oral) in standard English.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or higher in early childcare education.
• Two years of experience working with Two-Year-Olds.
• Knowledge of Two-Year-Old development and care
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Patience and ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Classes in Two-Year-Old Care
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• Strong understanding of child development and early education curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Teachers (K-12)
- Middle and High School Drama Teacher (Part-Time)
Community Christian School is looking for a part-time middle and high school drama teacher. Interested candidates should be passionate about setting a Christian example for students, theater, and ensuring a positive, nurturing, and performance-focused learning environment for students and families.
Required qualifications include:
- Belief in Jesus Christ and status as saved Christian in accordance with the Christian faith and the mission of CCS
- Ability to effectively communicate (written, oral) in standard English
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Essential skills include:
- Clear and effective communication with all stakeholders
General requirements include:
