Celebrate CCS Sunday with Us! 

Please join us this Sunday, March 1st at Church as we celebrate CCS Sunday.  We will be a part of both services, 9:30 am and 11:00 am and featuring several students throughout. Students who attend wearing any CCS attire will receive a jeans dress down day on Monday, March 2nd. The student must pick up a dress down pass at the CCS table in the atrium. Hope to see everyone there!

CCS New Student Enrollment for 2020-2021

Please be sure to complete your re-enrollment as new student enrollment has now opened.

Also, if you refer a new CCS family and they enroll and are accepted, you will receive a $300 tuition credit for 2020-2021 per child enrolled. Thank you for your continued support of CCS!

NEW Spirit Wear 

Don’t forget to check out the NEW Spirit Wear in the Armory.  Attached is a picture of the items we have available.  Stop by to view the merchandise and to place your order.  The shirts and hoodies can be worn on Tuesdays!

 

Elementary Father Daughter Dance (K5-5th grade)

The Father/Daughter Dance is this Friday, February 28th, from 6:00-8:30.  Dress is “Sunday best.” The cost to attend is $25.00 per “dad.” If you need an order form, email your child’s teacher, or you may pick up an order form outside of the school office. If a dad is unable to attend, a special friend, uncle, brother, or mom is welcome to chaperone instead.  We hope to see all of our girls there! 

Note: Only current CCS students are allowed to attend the Father/Daughter Dance

Coke Sale Has Started!

Dates: February 24th – March 10th

Delivery of products: March 19th

Order forms came home on Monday, February 24th. Funds will be used for technology improvements to assist with testing and to continue the growth of extracurricular programs, such as Chess Club.

Don’t let the name fool you – we have much more than just Coke. See the attached flyer for all the products we will have available and further details!

MS/HS Students Only

Student Government Association is offering a Chick-Fil-A Biscuit and juice snack the morning of Wednesday March 4th.  Students in Middle and High school are welcome to purchase the $4 snack.  All orders MUST be pre-ordered and paid for by THIS Friday, February 28th.  Order forms will be available in students’ homeroom classes, in the main office or you can print off an order form here. 

Elementary Students Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!

The elementary students will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with a spirit week, March 2nd – March 6th.  Attached are the dress down themes for each day.  Students who do not wish to participate should be in school uniform.

AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP PROCEDURES

Please review the following procedures for checking your students out from after school:

Check-out procedures for Elementary students:

  • The main school office stops student check outs at 2:30pm due to carline.
  • The after-school office starts student check outs at 3:00pm due to carline and after-school       transitions.
  • After carline, the regular $50 After-school fee will apply.
  • If you need to request a change in your students’ dismissal from carline to after-school or from after-school carline please email your students teacher as well as Amy Macias in the after-school office. amy.macias@communitychristianschool.net

  • The after-school office starts student check outs at 3:30pm due to dismissal and after-school transitions.
  • After 3:15 dismissal transition, the regular $50 After-school fee will apply.
  • If you need to request a change in your students’ dismissal from carline to after-school or from after-school carline please email your students homeroom teacher as well as Amy Macias in the after-school office.   amy.macias@communitychristianschool.net 

Community Monthly Bible Studies:

Men: Second Tuesday of each month, Three Dollar Cafe in McDonough, 6:00 p.m.

Women: Third Monday of each month, Community Atrium, 7:00 p.m.

Older Adults: 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, Student Center, 10:00 a.m.

Come Together 

All women are invited to Come Together at Community on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Come Together is a benefit event featuring music, fun, and stories of rescue and hope. Our special guest will be author and speaker, Whitney Capps. All proceeds benefit Gigi’s House, in our effort to support the fight against at risk victims of underage sex trafficking. Purchase your tickets at communitybible.church.
