Athletic Registration and Schedules (5th-12th grades)
Athletic registration is now online (no paper applications). To register, please go to ATHLETICS then REGISTER FOR SPORTS.

Please be sure to follow the steps provided to you and complete your re-enrollment process. Early re-enrollment will close as of January 24th and the application fee will go up to $280.00 To make this process run more smoothly we have been making some adjustments in our system and you may receive an email stating your FACTS account has been updated. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Also, our district code is COM-GA.
Throw Back 2020!
Everyone is invited to Throwback 2020, a fun and entertaining night of music through the decades at Community on Friday January 24th at 7:30 p.m. Throwback 2020 is a free event and seats are first come, first served. Auditorium doors open at 6:45 p.m. Chick Fil A meals are available for purchase for Friday evening. We will begin serving meals at 6:00 p.m. in the Atrium. The Friday Night show is CCS Night! If you can’t make it Friday, we are also performing a second show on Saturday, Jan 25th at 6:00 p.m.
PTO Winter Consignment Sale
Uniforms getting too short? Too small? Come shop our mid-year sale!
Tuesday, January 28th, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This sale includes only PTO clothes and will be marked at a deep discount. We accept cash, check, and credit cards. Sale will take place in the B foyer.
Elementary 100th Day of School
Our elementary students will be celebrating the 100th day of school on January 23rd by participating in some special activities their teachers have planned for the day. Students may also wear an article of clothing with 100 items attached. Please check with your child’s teacher for further details!
Throwback Dress Down Day
This Friday, January 24th is a free dress down day for students that wish to participate in the kick off of our throwback weekend event. For Elementary students, the theme is 80’s decade. Elementary students may dress down in 80’s attire on Friday, January 24th. Band T-shirts of any type are still prohibited.
For MS/HS the theme is 70’s decade and 9th-12th grade students may dress down in 70’s attire. If they choose not to participate they must wear uniforms.
Valentine Grams are on sale! A portion of the proceeds from Valentine Grams will go to Whispers of Love. If you would like to have a Valentine Gram delivered to someone special, please complete an order form and return it to your child’s teacher. Please include first and last name on the order form. Orders will be received through Friday, February 7. Checks should be made payable to CCS. Deliveries will take place on Friday, February 14. Order form is attached and additional forms are available outside of the school office.
MS/HS Spiritual Emphasis Week Dates Change
Please note that our Middle/High School Spiritual Emphasis Week has been moved to the week of January 27th.
Looking Ahead to Winter Break 2020 K5-5th Grade
School will be closed February 17th through February 21st for Winter Break. Elementary After-School will be available for a cost of $150 for Monday through Friday. Friday, February 7, is the last day to sign-up for Winter Break. There will be a $25 late fee for those who sign-up after the deadline. Registration forms will come home in Tuesday folders for 1st through 5th grade. K5 will sign up in the Early Education lobby.

Community Bible Church Guatemala Mission Trip
If you are interested in participating with the Guatemala mission team for the trip that will take place June 19th – 27th, please join us for an informational meeting, Sunday, February 2nd in the atrium after our 11:00 a.m. service.”
