We will be hosting the Football State Championship this Friday at 7:30 p.m.  Please come out to help us cheer our Knights to another State Victory!

Parent Prayer Group

Please join us this Thursday, November 14, at 8:05 a.m.  in the Chapel for our Parent Prayer Group.

K5-12th Grade Students- Food Drive

During the week of November 11-15 we will be part of a food drive for In His Name Food Pantry.  As well as non-perishable food donations, we will also be collecting some personal hygiene items. Students who participate by donating at least 10 items will earn a Dress Down Day on December 2nd.  All items should be turned into your students’ homeroom teachers.

What?   All 4 Knight basketball teams playing on the same day!

Come join us and help us cheer on our Knights!   Starting at 4:00pm we will have boys and girls, JV and Varsity basketball games and have added some fun for you too!  During the half time of Varsity games there will be center court games for spectators and prizes to win!

Urban Air Spirit Night!

We are teaming up with our Aftershock teens for a Night of Community.  All are welcome!!

Our Elementary Thanksgiving Feast will be held on November 22 following chapel – Please check with your child’s classroom teacher for specific information regarding the feast.

*Guests are NOT required to sign-in at the school office.

*The coffee bar will be closed. Since it is an early dismissal, there will be no lunch service.

*There will be a special combined school Thanksgiving Chapel at 8:15 am in the auditorium. Parents & Grandparents are welcome to attend but are asked to sit in the balcony.

*Middle/High students will dismiss from car line at 11:45 am

*ALL 1st-5th-grade students will be signed out/dismissed from their classrooms until 11:45 a.m.

*After-School is available but you must sign up in advance, please return forms to your child’s teacher by Friday, Nov 15th. This is FREE until 2:45 p.m.

*After 2:45 p.m. the regular $50 After-school fee will apply.

*After-school will start dismissal around 12:00 noon to allow time for students to transition between school and after-school. 

*Please remember there is no lunch served on Early Dismissals.  If your student is registered to stay after 11:45 a.m. they must bring a lunch that does not have to be heated, as microwaves will not be available to us.

Attention All Students!   Secret Santa Shop Is Coming!!

The PTO’s annual Secret Santa Sale will be held December 2nd through the December 6th.

Hours will be:  Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.  and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to shop for their family and friends.  The proceeds will go to the PTO which will directly benefit the school.

We are in need of donations of: gift bags, tissue paper, tape, and name tag stickers. Any donations can be dropped off in the main school office.

Volunteers are also needed to help students shop and to wrap gifts.

Community Christmas Tree Lighting and Concert

December 1st at 5:00 p.m.

Kick off the Christmas season at Community’s Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, December 1, at 5:00 PM, with Christmas carols, Selfies with Elfies, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, and more!

Our Tree Lighting will be followed by a Community Christmas Concert by the Callanwolde Concert Band, Community Christian High School Chorus, Ladies Ensemble, and outstanding vocalists Danni Washburn, Matt Upton, and Vicky Pabon.
Community’s Christmas Tree Lighting & Concert is a FREE event. If you like, bring new gloves and hats to benefit our Community Out Team homeless ministry!

For the first time ever, our MS and HS Choruses have the opportunity to sing at an Atlanta HAWKS game at the State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta!

The date is January 14, Please see the attached flier for all the details.

Please make plans to come out to support our CCS singers as they sing on the court at Prime Time, just before the game that evening. All are invited to purchase tickets on the customized link provided on the flyer attached, which will have you sitting in the reserved section specifically for CCS.

Tickets include a $10.00 meal voucher, entrance fee, and will have $5.00 of every ticket will be designated to benefit our Choral department at CCS!!
